PVC-U pressure pipes for water supply

Pipes and fittings are intended for drinking water and other substances supply to which PVC and material of the O- rings are chemically resistant (chemical stability indicators can be found at CN 550-82 “Instruction on the technological pipelines design based on the plastic pipes”).
Pressure pipes produced at a nominal pressure (PN-nominal pressure is the constant internal water pressure in the pipeline at 20 ° C, which can be withstood by the pipes for 50 years): 6.3; 8.0; 10.0; 12.5; 16.0 Atm incl.:
– The pipes without sockets with outer diameter of 20-315 mm, safety factor C = 2.5 * (100-PVC)
– The pipes with sockets of outer diameter of 110-315 mm, safety factor C = 2.0 * (PVC-125) with a connection via O-rings 38.105.1933-93 Technical Specifications. * – Factor of safety C selected when designing water supply equal to 2.5, corresponding to the pressure in the pipe wall [δ] = 10MPa (PVC-100) and equal to 2.0, corresponding to the pressure in the pipe wall [δ] = 12.5 MPa (PVC-125). PVC-U pipes manufactured according to the Technical Specifications of Ukraine В.2.5.-25.2-00203594.021-2001 and have all the necessary certificates: pipes and fittings (CONFORMITY CERTIFICATE № UA1.100.0050305-15 as of July 22, 2015) and approved for drinking water supply by the Ministry of Health Care of Ukraine № 505.07/156/5830 dated 18.05.2001. Each batch of pipes and fittings accompanied by a quality certificate. The color of PVC-U pressure pipes and fittings for drinking water supply is dark gray and shades are not regulated.
The projected life is up to 50 years. Confirmed Term of Service accounts for over 35 years)

Maximum allowable temperature of substances transported by PVC-U pipeline equals to + 45 ° C, minimum allowable equals to -5 ° C.
PVC-U pipes have low chemical activity and, therefore, can be used not only for transporting water, but some substances to which PVC and material of the O- rings are chemically resistant.
